Obama's New War

 "The president does not have power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize a military attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation."~ Senator Obama.

Arapahoe County Clerk Seeks Input on Polling Stations


Attached is a bulletin released from the Arapahoe County Clerk and Recorder today, 25 March 2011. The Clerk is seeking public input on whether Arapahoe County should use polling stations instead of precinct level polling places (reducing expense) for the off-year elections in November 2011. Although this bulletin is from Arapahoe County, other county clerks in Colorado may be considering this option; check with your own clerk's office.

Great Choice Douglas County!

The Douglas County School Board last night took a giant step forward for freedom and free markets in education with their unanimous vote to go forward with the School Choice pilot program.

The Castle Rock meeting was standing room only while citizens presented final pros and cons. Before the vote, the board members presented their own opinions, addressing most objections. As they spoke the room seemed to hush with opposition outcry greatly reduced.

Are our elected officals keeping their promises of Fiscal Responsiibility, Constitutionally Limited Government and Free Markets

Here is a quick check on how our legislators are doing in this general assembly. We must always keep a watchful eye on them and they need to know that we are watching.

I have attached a matrix from the Republican Study Committee of Colorado (RSCC). This is an organization that like us focuses on the principles of Fiscal Responsibility,  Constitutional Limited Government and Free markets. Their research is very and we support their efforts.
